AURORA 2020 — First Online Science & Technology Exhibition

In its first full year of activity, NIC AU organised its inaugural online science and technology exhibition — the seed of what would become the AURORA programme.

10 interdisciplinary research projects presented online, spanning drone-based precision agriculture, biomass recycling, AI-driven infrastructure inspection and materials science
56,000+ campaign reach across digital channels
323 experts engaged as contributors and reviewers
3,508 participants followed and engaged with the programme
30 media articles covered the exhibition
5 innovation partners supported the initiative

This exhibition laid the foundation for a model combining academic showcase with media outreach and market connectivity — a model that would evolve into the AURORA Scientific Research Awards.
