Hack4Growth Australia 2021 — Two Teams Reach Global Top 20

NIC AU served as the national coordinator for the Hack4Growth Australia round of the global innovation and startup competition, creating a platform for young Vietnamese entrepreneurs in Australia to develop technology solutions with real-world application in Vietnam.

Results:

• 40+ teams from universities across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide
• Two outstanding teams selected for the global Top 20 at the finals in France
• Both teams subsequently joined an accelerator programme in Vietnam
• Organised with Startup Vietnam Frontier, AVSE Global and AVSE Corp, and supported by SVAU

Hack4Growth Australia demonstrated the depth of entrepreneurial talent within the Vietnamese student community in Australia and reinforced NIC AU’s commitment to fostering cross-border innovation.
