NIC AU Coordinates Hack4Growth Australia — Two Teams Reach Global Top 20

NIC AU served as the national coordinator for the Hack4Growth Australia round of the global innovation and startup competition in 2021, creating a platform for young Vietnamese entrepreneurs in Australia to develop technology solutions with real-world application in Vietnam.

Results

  • 40+ teams from universities across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide
  • Two outstanding teams selected for the global Top 20 at the finals in France
  • Both teams subsequently joined an accelerator programme in Vietnam
  • The competition helped form a lasting innovation and startup network connecting Vietnam and Australia
