Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sends Letter of Recognition to NIC AU Following AURORA 2025 Success

On the occasion of NIC AU’s successful organisation of the AURORA Scientific Research Awards 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Lê Thị Thu Hằng issued an official letter of recognition on behalf of Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, dated 10 February 2026 in Hanoi.

The letter highlighted that as the Party and State place growing expectations on science and technology as a strategic breakthrough and core driver of national competitiveness, “the intellectual contributions of the community of experts and Vietnamese intellectuals overseas carry very significant meaning.”

The Deputy Minister expressed hope that NIC AU “will continue to play a core role in promoting knowledge transfer, awakening a sense of responsibility and a spirit of dedication among the community of experts, scientists and postgraduate researchers of Vietnamese origin overseas for the development of the country.”
This official recognition from Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs follows the earlier Letter of Introduction from the Embassy of Vietnam in Australia, further affirming NIC AU’s legitimacy and growing role as a trusted bridge between the global Vietnamese research community and Vietnam’s national development agenda.
